Come on now. Please.

Friday 16 March 2007

I am really quite tired. I've had about two hours sleep this week. It's not good. I'm going to watch Ugly Betty (yes, I do that) and then I'm going to sleep for the whole weekend. Nobody had better wake me up.

On Monday I saw IAMX and Scarlet Soho at the Scala. SS were well good. I didn't see any of IAMX. It was too full, I kept being touched and all I had was other people's sweat on my actual face. It was not nice. Chris Corner did look quite ridiculous.I saw a newsreader who I thought was Alastair Stewart, but I just googled his name and it was not him...so, yeah.Instead of watching their set, we sat in the foyer mocking fans. Which I was quite happy to do, really.Tuesday I went to Being Boiled and despite a foetus face getting in my way, I had a good time being dissatisfied with pretty much the whole evening. SS were great though. I had an argument with the bouncer but then we made up. I also ate nuts. I'm not even going to mention the other bands.Wednesday Amy and I spent quarter of our whole lives going to Watford. Nobody owns net curtains in Watford. There are also no streetlights. There are ducks. We tried to find out where the cast of Eastenders lived and I think we were pretty right in our decisions. It cost us £2 entry for Baraka and we got VOUCHERS for drinks. So I had Apple VK. I don't particularly like it. But it happened that way. There was an acoustic guy who wasn't bad. The next band were 50% Arctic Monkeys & 50% Libertines. A mix I'm not willing to tolerate. Quite frankly. When SS were playing, Amy was heckled by a drunk man. I tried to take pictures. It's pretty hard when you are also dancing. I got home at 2.30am and got up at 6am. It hurt.Yesterday there was a party for a lady who's leaving work at Easter. I almost fell asleep in my seafood paella.I rock as hard as The

Hi.

Yesterday I went to possibly the loudest museum in the world. According to a child at school "Miss Laurencine (that's me) is really strict!" so it was quite hard for me to ignore all the bad behaviour EVERYWHERE. "Now, do stop that." isn't going to work really. It shocks me that people don't know how to control their own children. It really does.

Supernanny is coming to our school! Well, a small ginger man who must be some sort of producer. There are posters around asking the kids if they would like to be on the show. I could nominate a few, don't get me started!

Anyway. Apart from that, I had fun eating nuts (is that irresponsible?) and pointing and shouting "I had that!" at the toys. Then I went to Crabtree & Evelyn and bought three packets of Cath Kidston tissues and two lipbalms for 25p. The lady was a bit foreign and I thought she said £25. She must have thought I was mad because I had a small heart attack. After many hours on the bus, I got home and watched Zathura which is strangely like Jumanji, but in space. I wonder if anyone else noticed? Then I cut my hair. My mother shouted. It looks like this abit. Please don't mind myself in that picture. That was after a long night of rock.

I like links today.

Hey.I walked home from work today. It took just about an hour. It made me feel great. I listened to My Chemical Romance all the way. I really do like this album y'know. After somewhat obsessive behaviour, I have tickets to see them at Wembley. I am well pleased. Because I like their album. I was going around work making everyone listen to my pod. The general consensus is that MCR (see, I am a real fan) are 'not bad' which is fine enough an answer for me!

On Saturday, Amy and I watched a football match. It was a nice time. We then went to the last day of the Born To Rock exhibition which was also nice. Spacious too. After that we spent time with the lifts and I was certain we were going to get kicked out. I'm doing well to rid myself of my fears, so this wasn't as scary as I first thought. We saw the animals. About two. A lady in a wheelchair had a small owl but we didn't pet it. She had lots of poo down her leg.We were supposed to see The Cribs but there were no tickets despite Time Out saying there were. It has lied to me too many times. I think I may end my subscription. Is that too harsh?

Sunday I decorated some of my room. It's really hard with a stair-arm but I've done about half my ceiling and it makes me happy. I almost gave myself a hernia moving my bed though.Yesterday we went to The Gossip instore at HMV. We got there about ten minutes before and we still managed to get quite at the front. I do like them. The sound was wrong so my ears bled a bit. I have one picture.

We didn't stay to get anything signed. I was going to ask Beth to sign my squirrel but that would have sounded rude. I didn't want to seem like too much of a fan.
