Amy and I got lost in Trocadero on Wednesday. We were also locked in the cineworld, we had to go out the back fire exit way. Parts of the ceiling had fallen down and it was rather scary. We watched some of Smart People and Charlie Bartlett. I like that movie, especially for this part. After, we went to I Am Immune, Capital X and Scarlet Soho at Bar Rumba. I cannot remember so much because I was so exhausted. I don't think I constructed a single coherent sentence all night.

SS are probably the hardest band to photograph live.
The rest of my time has been taken up with shopping and thoughts of shopping. I do not like it at all. People. In my face. Grrr. However, when I go with my friend Heidi, it is always a wonderful experience. We have tea breaks and she takes me to charming places like Persephone Books. She is building up her collection of them. I've only read Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day (when is the movie out?) but I will eventually read them all. On Friday, she bought two more when we went furniture shopping in Liberty. I saw the nicest desk that I will have to buy. It had a pleasing suck to it when I opened the drawers. She has bought her first house and I'm going to get her some nice mugs and fabric that we saw there. I also started thinking about Christmas presents and I have written a draft list for a few people. We had lunch in Leon. I bought the nicest dress in Ceci Tokyo and saw the best Carvela shoes in Selfridges. I will buy them later. And this:

I'm pretty sure everyone in their life has taken a picture of this, but I hadn't. We were quite convinced that we saw Dennis Norden with an eye patch and a limp.

Today, Heidi taught me how to make the tastiest cheesecake in the world. And I loved it.

The base has ameretti as well as digestive biscuits. It makes a delicious difference.I've started to nick my sister's little camera when I go to places that don't allow/require mine, so expect some silly pictures in the future.

The rain is making all the flowers in the garden look sad. Amy and I were going to have a look at the Taste of Spain thing going on in Regent Street today. But we decided against it. She will be making squirrel cakes for the orphans she found near her house. I said they were vermin, she is going to look after them anyway. I am to watch Prison Break because I love it too much. It was the only thing that kept me from going crazy when I was really convalescing.

I've not been too good at getting to where I've wanted to be this week. There was another recording of The Wall, also I was planning to go to Oxford and Brighton. But it never happened. I did go into the new school to assess some of the children for the assistant head. 9am - 2pm and then to the Wombats gig at the Royal Albert Hall. I could have died. We had stall seats but people were standing. I managed to stand for about 3 songs, then I fell asleep (!) and then everyone went a bit mad and stood on their seats. Security were well panicked, then gave up. I felt bad for desecrating such a lovely place.

Yesterday we went to the pilot recording of In My Country with Omid Djalili and Stephen K Amos. A new sitcom about immigrants who live together and the hilarity which inevitably ensues. I really enjoyed it actually. It's not something I would have ever tuned into but I liked it. I expected there to be a guy holding cards saying 'laugh big style' or 'clap loudly' etc, but we were trusted to perform of our own accord.

On the bus home, a punk peed himself and his lady friend asked me if I had a tissue. I told her to keep the whole pack. Another lady stepped in the pee even after I screamed, "Don't step in the pee!!" It was disgusting.I quite like documenting good stuff. It is enjoyable to me. So, on a similar vein, I am going to purchase a camcorder and record my whole life. I will! I don't actually know what it entails, in terms of editing and all that, so I may change my mind. But I want to. It will be fun. So there.

And, lastly, I finally finished Book of Lost Things. It was so action packed! I've started the Edible Woman by Margaret Atwood but I don't really like the way it is written. I am only on chapter 2, though.

My first ever apple pie was very tasty. I'll cut the apples smaller next time, but it was nice. After many, many years I like cooked fruit. Well, apples at least. I may make a blueberry pie next. Or a swiss roll, because they look too easy and I have never really had a nice one.I have a rather large noise headache.

Yesterday I went to Delays at Koko. They were very good. My first real gig. It was loud. Claire, Scarlet and Amanda (friend, girlfriend, manager - I am totally in) danced alot. I merely nodded my head. I asked Colin for me to buy the album and he said they didn't have any there, which is just madness. I shouted a bit, so he is going to give me one for free. I told him I wanted it to be signed to match my poster. It is the only poster in my room. I hope he feels honoured. We stayed for Club NME rubbish. I got home at 3am.

Watched What Happens In Vegas. The beginning made me feel I'd taken LSD. It was alright. Then Speedracer. We left, don't see it! And Doomsday which was very dramatic and made me laugh. A bit out of fear and, also, because it was quite ridiculous. The lead actress would give Angelina Jolie a run for her money. She had wicked skills. Finally, Shutter. I left after the girl was run over. About five minutes into the movie. Too scared. Oh, and Charlie Bartlett. I do watch a lot of movies, don't I? The ticket guy said that he didn't need to tell me where the screen was. I was momentarily offended before I realised he had a point.

On Monday, Amy and I walked her dogs to Tooting Park for a picnic. A big wolf wanted Treacle's ass and Tiger rolled about in cous cous. I didn't have my camera because we had tickets to the recording of the Album Chart Show and Koko security are buggers. We didn't actually get in, instead of queuing (this is not in my repertoire) we watched a drunk lady bother people. The Zutons were playing. I do not like The Zutons.

I had my first gastro appointment at the hospital on Tuesday. I was there for about five hours. I've been put on 6 tablets. I didn't want to but it's only for about six months. It was all very curious. There was a suited woman who I wasn't introduced to, my doctor talked for a while and then told me and the nurse to leave. It was twenty minutes before I went back in. After that I had to talk to a research doctor. I had another blood test because I keep losing energy really quickly. I'm jumping around one minute and then on the floor the next. It's probably my B levels. My next appointment is June 3rd.

I went to have lunch with two friends from the old school and inevitably bumped into some old colleagues. They all say I'm lucky to be having such free time. After about the fifth person, I was going to shout, "Well, you can have my insides if you want!" I was very good and didn't. I saw some of the evil bitches (sorry) and they weren't too happy with the interest I was generating. Keep that face up and you'll get wrinkles, you tarts. Heh.

These came through the post:

I must have requested them. I'll be at Claire's birthday and Prague, so if anyone wants them or knows someone?

My cat has shunned her rather expensive bed for an Ikea blanket and cardboard box.

I'm going to go to bed now.

My collection of apple saplings. Today was so nice that my mother and I did the gardening. Well, I planted some more things while she dug her life away. Also, our lawnmower broke after she only cut half the grass. Our neighbours will surely mock us. I planted rocket, french beans, cauliflower, carrots, forget-me-nots, sunflowers and some herbs.

I made mini doughnuts. They were very fun to decorate. I forgot to oil the machine sometimes, so we had doughnut fondue with all the broken pieces. Chocolate, honey and sugar.

Amy won tickets to The Enemy's charity gig at Bloomsbury Ballroom on Wednesday. She had tickets to the Chelsea V Liverpool (was it Liverpool?) match so I was going to go with Claire. Before the gig, we went to a pub with someone from her work called Patrick. I had orange juice, apple juice, then cranberry juice. The other two had alcohol. Considering the amount of drink, they were pretty respectable. We also had something to eat and tried to find a Brian. At around nine, it became obvious that we were not going to the gig. We gave our tickets and my wicked map to a random couple who went instead. About half an hour later the barman presented us with shots of tequilla that the couple bought us. I didn't want mine and neither did Claire. So Patrick amused us with a Tequilla Suicide.

My knowledge of drinking games is shockingly bad, I was quite intrigued. He snorted salt, put lemon in his eye and drank the tequilla. I cracked up while he proceeded to spasm. I was then informed of a Tequilla Kamikaze. It involves salt in your ear, snorting lemon and putting the tequilla in your eye. Patrick was not so keen on doing that one. So with the second shot, he made his own version of the Suicide. I can't recall what he did with the third shot. We stayed until closing time and had quite a lot of fun. I slept on the bus all the way home.

I had a nice curry with two nice people on Thursday. Amy, my sister and I went to Nokia Green Room yesterday. Kelly Rowland looked like a puppet and she put her leather crotch in Amy's face. Ashlee Simpson sounded rubbish and we couldn't even hear the guitarist. His trousers kept falling down, so he wasn't even pleasant to look at. My sister said Ashlee looked like she shops in Primark. Which is sad because her clothes probably cost my life. Pete Wenzethyadhg was there because he has attachment issues. Late Of The Pier also played and I liked them a lot! And Guillemots, who caused me temporary paralysis from their monotony. After the show, Amy and I went to watch In Bruges (totally great!) and Iron Man where I stuffed my face with fruit and burped alot.

Tomorrow we are going to the Arsenal match and I am going to make a tuna sandwich to take with me.

I think my mother is feeling guilty about giving me shoddy genes.I have a new laptop and have spent my life importing songs today. I can actually update my ipod now. And I like Paramore.

Also I have spent this week at a person's great house drinking earl grey, eating cheesecake and sewing. We went shopping to buy my belated Mother's day present and wool. And to Borough Market for rhubarb as it seems impossible to get anywhere else. Heidi (she's the person) made a spice cake with it and it tasted well weird. I do not like rhubarb. There's a cheese shop (I'm sure there's an actual name other than cheese shop) just off the market and I went in to look for raclette cheese. The smell was so offensive that I shouted, "My god, it smells like a bum!" and left. I didn't realise but Jamie Oliver was there and he must think me a simpleton. Ah well.Afterwards we were walking to Regent's Park and George Galloway came by in his open-top bus with sunglasses, loud music and the worst bubble machine I have ever seen. It was all wrong. There were big men on his bus. Yesterday was the Nokia Green Room again but I decided to go to the cinema to see Lars And The Real Girl. It was nice. I generally stay away from beards but I like how Ryan Gosling looks with one. Then I went to Koko with Claire as she had wristbands. I believe we saw one song from Make Model. The whole affair wasn't very exciting so we went to Sainsbury's and Claire's house to eat bagels and watch her flatmate play on his Wii. That was much more fun. Artichokes are my new favourite food. I've had them five times this week. Yum.Tomorrow I'm going in to my new school. There'll be no children but I need to get acquainted with the place and see if I don't pass out from all the stairs.

I watched Resident Evil at the cinema. It was scary. I had to take off my glasses. It was still scary. I also watched Stardust which is WELL GOOD. I loved it.

Amy saw Mark Ronson on Wednesday and then won tickets to see him again on Thursday at Shepherd's Bush. The support was so offensively boring that I had to listen to my ipod while they played. Mark Ronson was pretty good. Except for the silly, silly rapper guy that kept spoiling songs with his "make some noiseeeeeee" - what a loser.I had to pick up my camera from the stage door and I shocked all the lackies with my refusal of being a fan and how I managed to get through them all to get to the door. I was only interested in getting back my camera! We did not go to the aftershow. There's only so much hip-hop a person can take.

Tonight we are going to the Friday Night Late thingy at the V&A.

The Natural History Museum.I did not see the dinosaurs because the queue was MENTAL.

Well. Hi. I am listening to Jimi Hendrix. Currently deciding whether this is a good or bad thing. My computer is fixed. Did you know it was broken? I haven't been able to update my ipod for about four months. I finished listening to all the songs and now I am going through them again until I put back everything I lost on iTunes. I have only done 100 songs.

I have some pictures for you. They aren't very interesting because you won't know these people. I don't know these people. You are warned.I had other much more interesting things to say to you, but I have forgotten them all.

The Ben & Jerry's Festival was nice, but hot. I watched almost no bands. The Holloways are boring. Here are the Proclaimers in the distance. They were silly to play only two songs anyone knew. To start and end with.

I went to Rochester for a housewarming day. It is well nice there. There was a cute baby. I seem to talk about babies too much. Had a minor heart attack when I walked the entire length of Fulham Rd to watch Waitress. I thought it was great! Also Hairspray. I have the soundtrack. I am so sad.

I went to the 1-2-3-4 Festival. It was again hot. I had to make a sunhat. Notice my chin strap.

We only saw Bolt Action Five, Bono Must Die and Neil's Children. But we listened to some others on our hill. It was nice.

He obviously couldn't feel the breeze.

Also:Neil's Children at Proud. I like that bass rhythm! That guy wears plimsolls. I bought a pair because they looked so comfy. Knocked Up. It is so rude! But I laughed alot. Buttoned Down Disco. We found abandoned kittens in some rubble behind 93ft East. I wanted to take them home. Arsenal v Fulham. There was fighting, rain and swearing. Great.
